Armored Lexus LX 570

Lexus LX 570 is an eight-passenger luxury Armored SUV. This vehicle is based on Toyota Land Cruiser flawless design chassis which in turn provides more comfort and luxury. It is good in off-road mobility and have major towing ability as this is 4WD full time. 

Our in-house engineers do the armoring for this vehicles keeping the VIP clients in mind. Though the armoring is as per the requirements of our customers, we do not tamper with the appearance of the vehicles during armoring. The braking system as well as the suspension is upgraded to support the additional weight of the vehicles without compromising on the vehicle's performance. 

SAV's Armored Lexus LX 570 is provided either with a right hand drive or a left hand drive and also comes in two variants like petrol and diesel. Shell Armored Vehicles recommend our clients to go for level 7 armoring for this vehicle as this will provide the VIP customers with utmost safety with comfort and space under the hood.

Four Levels of Armoring

Level 4 Armoring

This level of armoring can protect you from magnum 44 calibre maximum firepower. The thickness of glass window provided is of 18.6 mm enough to withstand several rounds of 0.45AC and 0.44 Magnum rounds fired from a Mag 44, UZI 9 mm or an MP5. For this level of armoring, you will get armoring for the entire body structure, doors, roof, floor, dashboard console and fuel tank. Additionally; you will also receive retainers for armored panels and run flats to protect from flat tires.

Level 5 Armoring

This level of armoring will protect your from AK 57, GALIL, G3 and FUSIL. The thickness of the glass window provided will be 40 mm which can save you from several rounds of 5.56 and 7.62 rifle bullets. For this level of armoring you will get ballistic steel caps, armored doors, floor, roof frame, retainers on the panels, dashboard and console, fuel tank, reinforced sides and bumpers. The floor and panels are armored with explosive wave dissipation and a fibber that prevents fragmentation. You will also get Teflon tiers rings and a two way intercom to maintain communication even in times of duress which is in addition to the above. You will also have the main battery box and electrical systems fully protected.

Level 6 Armoring

This level of armoring will protect your vehicles from GALIL and G3 guns. It comes with a 7.62X51 Full Metal Jacket and protects your vehicle from 5.56 Armor Piercing ballistics. The thickness of the glass window is of 46 mm which can withstand several rounds of 5.56 and 7.62 rifle bullets that can save your life. This level of vehicle security will have ballistic steel caps, armored doors, floor, roof frame, retainers on the panels, dashboard and console, fuel tank, reinforced sides and bumpers, and full protection for the hood and radiator. Additionally, you will get all the support from the above level of armoring.

Level 7 Armoring

This level of armoring will protect your vehicles from the maximum firepower of GALIL and G3 guns. It comes with a 7.62X51 Full Metal Jacket and protects your vehicle from 7.62X51 mm Armor Piercing ballistics, FJ, BP, HC1. This level of armoring will have a glass thickness of 76 mm which can withstand several rounds of bullet and armor piercing ballistic steel. Apart from the above, all the armoring specifications from all the levels of armoring is covered in this level of armoring.

Ballistic armor: A thick metal plating system is installed on the sub frame of the car to make it neutral to ballistic threat. This armour can give very strong protection to the passengers in the vehicle. The thickness of the metal plate can be varied, making the vehicle safe from bullets to projectiles that would otherwise pierce armors. Floor plates may also be installed to protect the vehicle from detonation devices.

Armored tires: Run flat devices are special tires that are made of both composite materials and alloys casing within the tire. This special casing allows your vehicle to move about 60 miles, to evade threat or threat-like situations, even when the tires are deflated.

Bullet-proof glass: Also known as transparent armor, this kind of glass is manufactured with varying degrees of thickness to compete with perceived threats. It can effectively withstand attacks from rifles and RPGs.

Grill bumpers/guards: If there is a threat of an attack from the front or the back of the vehicle, grill guards and bumpers can be used to mitigate risks. These armors create additional reinforcement to the edges of the vehicles. This also allows vehicles to pass through debris or roadblocks without hindering speed.
